Questions about one of Dorotea Lange's photos...

What do you like about this photo? I like how dramatic this photo is. I think that turning the photo black and white made it look more dramatic than it would be in full colour.

How does it make you think/feel? This photo makes me feel sympathetic towards the people in this photo because the woman looks upset and they all look like they live in poverty. Due to the woman's facial expression I think that the woman is scared to what may happen to her and her children.

How does this affect you? I relate to this photo deeply because the mother is going without just s her children don't have to. I relate to this because I feel that my mother would do the same for me and my siblings.

Why is this image powerful? In my opinion this photo is powerful because you can see the fear in the mother's eyes.
